The Huguenot Trail District

The Huguenot Trail District serves scouts, scouters, and familes in Powhatan County and northern Chesterfield County. The district is an integral part of the Heart of Virginia Council and aims to promote the scouting cause by providing training, resources, leadership, and district wide events.

Whether you are interested in joining scouting, or you are already active, this site has the information you are looking for.

Super Saturday
Super Saturday is a council-wide coordinated program-planning and training seminar as well as a leader resource and information trade show. This is a great opportunity to learn how to plan a great year of Scouting for 2008-2009 and to pick up and share tips about running your Pack, Troop, or Crew.
District Dinner Postponed
The Huguenot Trail District Committee has decided to POSTPONE the 2008 District Dinner. The District Dinner will be held on May 29th, 2008 from 6-9 PM at Bon Air United Methodist Church on Buford Road. The deadline to register for the dinner is May 9th, 2008.

The BSA has released a new edition of the Eagle Scout Application. This new form must be used starting May 1st, as the old edition will no longer be accepted. To get a copy of this new form, please our "Eagle Scout Guidelines" page.

Day Camp Staff Wanted
District Day Camp is July 28 - August 1. We are currently looking for additional youth and adult staff. This is a great service opportunity and guaranteed to be a lot of fun.
